Data Analytics Course

Using practical exercises, you will learn to identify, transform, and utilize data using popular tools and techniques, including Excel, SQL, and Tableau. Learn how to use data visualization tools and methods to create high-quality charts and graphs to build and present data presentations.

Tuition: $2,500

What You'll Learn

We partnered with industry insiders, so you can learn the skills that employers look for. The curriculum is split into 5 units covering the topics below.

Data
Foundations

Cleaning and Analyzing Data

Databases

Visualization and Presentation of Data

From the first class, you will dive into data collection, and learn the guiding principles behind an unbiased Data Analytics process

Work with data more efficiently by taking your Excel, SQL, and Python skills to the next level. Learn how to import, store, organize and analyze data, and use functions and pivot tables.

Learn how to organize data within a database, and access it using Structured Querying Language (SQL). Develop core querying skills, including how to manipulate data within a database and connect your data to other tools.

Practice developing visualizations and telling a story with your data. Using Tableau, you will develop high-quality dashboards for ongoing monitoring, and present your insights in a meaningful way.

Your Work Product
To earn your certificate, you will complete an industry-level analysis project on a data set either of your choosing or from one of our Career Track Data Sets. This will be an end-to-end analysis, requiring you to collect and clean data, develop a hypothesis, and analyze your data to prove or disprove it. You will then create visualizations to present your insights in a meaningful way.
